      6.5x55 what's it close to and hunting aplications

      I have a 96 Mauser in 6.5 Still all military. no problem with todays ammo. Steel plates out to 400 no problem. This has the 1 in 7 1/2 twist. Built one I would use I in 8 twist. Reloads a awlsome!!

      I don't blame you. i have a hornet an a 30/30 both are great shooters. Have a 410 & 20 ga barrels for sale if you know of anyone looking.
