Yes I watched this on The History Channel on History in HD about the battle of Leyte Gulf. I was so moved by the story of this sailer. I taped it and Made my wife and son watch it. They were both as moved as I was. I had to chase my wife around the house to make her watch it. I talked it up today at work to tell my co-workers about what these guys went through for us. ^ Destryers vs a Japanese task force of Cruisers and battleships and destroyers because Halsy went chasing empty carriers. They fought and 800+ dies and had to drift for several days as the sharks ate them. History isn't free.

Thanks for the rep. I actually was out shooting M1Garands and a 1903-A3 tonight with an 87yo WW2 vet. I was very humbled by his presence and stories.
