The OT culture is stupid there. Only about half of us want all the overtime and the half that do only want it when it's mandatory. Put up a sign up list for it and they won't sign the damn thing so we all get drawn into it.

If you don't test, you don't know!
But we had dinner plans tonight at the Pivot Lounge with some friends, one of whom has multiple health problems anyway. And of course I also wanted to know what it was so I could try to keep my 90-yr-old mom from getting it when she has already had bronchitis since Thanksgiving. Very difficult to avoid contact when I am her caretaker. I am disinfecting ALL THE THINGS.

Exactly. There's basically no more quarantine or really not much else you can do about it.

I thought a long time ago disenfecting surfaces was debunked.

No harm killing germs on surfaces I have touched recently. Especially remotes, etc. We usually play Yahtzee and gin every day; we're going to hold off because it involves passing the same items back and forth between us.

Just a heads up to anyone who attended the M&E at Schoops. I just tested positive for covid. Not sure when I picked it up, whether I had it by Saturday or I picked it up on Saturday.

My wife's mom is in memory-care at a facility in Schererville. Half the staff and occupants have the wu-flu, and Mary's going crazy trying to figure out how to keep her mom from gettin it. Of course, they've all had their shots and multiple boosters, etc ... LOL

I tell her there's not much she can do, and she knows it, but still is worried. The level of care has fallen precipitously, as half the staff has to stay home five days at a time, until they test negative. She's bringing her mom's clothes home to wash, because they can't keep up.

    It sucks, bigly.

Could someone match names to faces from the M&E event? Starting from the left, I know Tom, Don, Therese, Kevin, DebbieMsPinkDragonLady, and I assume Mom sitting at the table, and the infamous jedi (nice shirt, by the way). A few others look familiar and I'm sorry if I should remember your name, but I'm bad on names.

I believe I'm getting close to selling the biz and retiring, and hope to attend future events, and perhaps even shooting events with y'all in the future.

Here's the photo again, and thanks in advance:

I'm in the plaid shirt next to Kevin and my wife is seated next to Momma Snap.

Show up and you could get covid, er, shake hands with everyone.

I'll give ya some screen names but you have to actually attend to know whose who :stickpoke:

    The ones you didn't mention

MaxVolume, Gunbunnies, Repeter77, Kaveman, Actaeon277, Marvin02, and Chef Larry. Also Mama Snap and Marvin02s wife.

Pretty easy to identify the "da pink loser" :lmfao:
