It is an Ithaca M49 Saddlegun made for Sears as a Ted Williams who was an avid outdoorsman, a major league baseball star, and a Korean War jet fighter ace.
Roger that on the Ithaca M49. Great for the young ones to develop skills. They do seem to go for very high prices.

Ted Williams was the last player to bat over .400 for a season. IIRC he hit 521 home runs in his career.

I have three grandkids and already have rifles to give them when they get old enough. It’s a personal thing for me. So don’t need to enter their names. Just wanted to say in open forum that what you’re doing is over the top and super cool. No doubt you will be blessed by your act of generosity.

My grandson Tobias could use a first rifle.
His father is already training him, but an adult rifle is just to big. He would definitely benefit from a children's rifle.

Thanks for doing this @Mgderf .
I'm sure whoever gets it will appreciate it.

Entering my grandson Matthew. His initials is MDJ, I call him Mad Dawg Jr. Very good of you to do this. I am sure the entries will be coming in.

Love this. My son and his buddy are just about old enough to shoulder a shorter stock. I have a JM Marlin single shot ready to go, but love to pay it forward to his friend to get 2 2A kids coming up.

My daughter Cynthia. She is 11 years old and participates in tetrathlons where she swims, runs, rides horses and shoots (pellet guns). She ranks 1st place over 90% of the time and would like to transfer her marksmanship over to rimfire. We've rented some .22lr's and she is an excellent shot, I'm wicked proud.

Saving up now for a Ruger pistol (22/45) and some sort of rifle. My plan is to get into steel challenge with her at the same time.

    All weekend without an entry?
    Is Ingo's traffic slowing down?
Your gonna get alot more im sure. What your doing is a wonderful unselfish act that gets less common as time goes by. I'm sure alot of INGOs have already provided for their kids and grandchildren. My grandson has a Henery youth size .22 lever gun that has a Redfield Bear Cub scope to go with it once he master's the Irons. He is only 3 so a few more years. Again the entry's will come and hopefully good Karma will come your way as well.
