Ditch those camera tri pods, get a good spotting scope stand, these are as good as it gets https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product/complete-1-inch-polecat-v2-scope-stand
Not expensive. The hardest part will be powering them at the target. What does something like that run on the budget side?

Damn. That's salty. How is that better than the tripod with micro adjustments? Genuinely curious since that super expensive stand doesnt convey its value.Ditch those camera tri pods, get a good spotting scope stand, these are as good as it gets https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product/complete-1-inch-polecat-v2-scope-stand
Because like my vintage Freeland stand. I can add height to it and just turn my head when shooting prone, sitting or standing. I can also set it next to a bench and it takes up zero bench sq footage.Damn. That's salty. How is that better than the tripod with micro adjustments? This is probably a better turn key solution than mine. and not THAT much more expensive. One of the yaa yaa's I shoot with has one of these. It works well. Each of us can use our own phone or a tablet to see the targets.

Cant do that with a tripod. They are everything a tripod is not.

Target side (you'll need 110v at the target)

With that setup, the camera (1) watches the target.
it sends the image to 2, which beams it to the bench where it is received by 3.
Your phone connects to 4 and displays the image via the camera's interface.
clear as mud?

All depends upon how you will use it. Think about where you would expect to have it normally, and the angle you would have to contort into to see each.any pros and cons having it straight vs. angled?
I guess when prone, straight would be better. Sitting or standing then angled...All depends upon how you will use it. Think about where you would expect to have it normally, and the angle you would have to contort into to see each.
