Picked one of these (M&P 10) up the other week from a local pawn shop in a rare concession to normalcy (modern polymer striker guns). I think it's a hoot!

Out of the box the trigger was atrocious (probably why I found it in the pawn shop). After a little research on the reason and a movie's worth of polishing the linkage it's actually a pretty nice trigger.

I've seen them for around $750 when available at many different places. However, they are usually sold out before I can get to them. I get email notifications from several online gun stores for the Ronin when they are back in stock.

Im still trying to hold out for a new Colt Delta Elite.

But might have to go Dan Wesson Razorback
The Colt Delta Elite is a great starting point for a nice gun but it will need some work out of the box to make it shine. On mine, I replaced the plastic MSH, trigger, barrel bushing, and internals. AllenM checkered the front strap and did Novak cuts. I fit the grip safety and Allen did the cerakote. It's now among my favorites in the 1911 collection, but it was a bit rough out of the box.

Coming from not a 1911 guy, that is just a great, sleek looking gun.

What all did you polish? Just the plunger and the trigger bar where it interfaces with the plunger?
