I was just giving him a hard time in advance.

Looks like you do very nice work. Maybe you should be a business advertiser here?
Thanks. I’m mulling that over. It’s not my intent to come here and make money off of folks. It’s a side business. I don’t do the tacticool stuff so popular today. I try to make ones that commemorate a special event in someone’s life. I can print on kydex——-depending on what’s wanted.

    In the country, hopefully.

Wow printing on Kydex sounds pretty cool. I’ll have to give that some thought.

I only started because of the wait time and cost on a hybrid IWB. I just went to Tandy leather and picked up some stuff. People brag about the thickest leather and kydex, but I’ve actually gravitated to thinner materials for better form and fit, not that they’re that great or anything. But it’s just what I want. Pay extra for a sweat guard? I think that should be standard. I like to protect my red dots but not have anything extra. Just the little things, but there are probably fit and finish things that I miss.

I’ve made a few for sale and for friends but I don’t see it as a business for me, I’ve got enough irons in the fire. I just like making them fit me, especially the AIWB, for ride height.

I’ll try to get some pictures.

You should not hesitate to want to take our money. You should also make sure you’re going to make enough when you do sell products.

Here are a few I printed. I use sublimation to do it. It isn’t printed ON it actually goes into the surface of the Kydex. The one thing is, you can’t print white or print on black. Tan or light grey Kydex, Coyote if the image is black.

Not sure if this is known or not but wanted to put this little secret out there…to anyone that may own a P238 you know that mags are ridiculously expensive $$$$$!

I recently saw a video saying that the Springfield 911 mags fit the P238, and are half the price. These guns are basically identical twins.

I bought one yesterday and it fits fine! I dry tested it with snap caps and all went well. Haven’t been able to actually shoot with it yet, so that will be the real test but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

I got my first Sig about 3 years ago, the P365. Nice gun overall, but *hated* the trigger. Pretty much sat in my safe after 6 months of trying to like it. Hadn’t bought another Sig since… until now. The P220 Legion 10mm SAO has been haunting me for a couple of years, but I finally decided to buy one and immediately send it off to The Sig Armorer for a trigger job. I have a 1911 chambered in 10mm and I love the way it shoots, so I’m hoping for the best when The Sig Armorer does his thing!

Just curious, has anyone used The Sig Armorer for a trigger job? People rave about him on Sig forums, but wondered if anyone here has had him do a job for them.

I have never had dealings with "The Sig Armorer" I'm just curious why you didn't shoot the gun a bit before sending it off?
It’s a fair question. It’s probably just due to my experience with the P365 and knowing that the SAO version has a “standard” trigger, I was leaning that direction from the beginning.
I dry fired it a bit and while I know that’s not necessarily a true test, it confirmed what I suspected… felt too much like what I didn’t like about the P365, which isn’t what I want on a $1500 gun. Got it over with before I just settled!

This is not a criticism of your approach as I have sent guns off for triggers jobs without firing a shot but....

I recently picked up a new P226 SAO Legion. Trigger was nice but not amazing. Replaced the trigger with an AC (hammers are still backorder for another month or two) trigger and it was still just ok, Had this weird hitch in its giddy up. Since I intend to replace the hammer anyway, didn't feel like polishing anything and instead ran about 5000 (?) dryfires and the trigger improve dramatically.

I am sure that the Sig trigger job will come back smooth as silk without you having created a blister from all the dryfiring!

I hope so… I figured it was the best way to give myself a fresh start with Sigs, since I really want to love this gun! Given the rave reviews I saw, I figured the trigger job definitely wouldn’t hurt. 5000 dry fires might hurt though! Lol

First Sig I actually decided to purposely own. I've had several now but they were all trades I took on to most likely (and did) sell.

But after seeing a P229 Legion with a pro cut slide I fell in love with the looks. Then I read that Gray Guns did the triggers and after having HKs with their triggers I knew it would be a good shooter.

Found a wonderful auction for a 226 and somehow won. After thinking I got scammed for 2.5 weeks it finally showed up yesterday and today I got to pick it up.
