And the retro M16A1 i'm still waiting for. This will look great next to my PSA MP5.
Personally I'd get the 7.62x39 model. Makes the most sense considering just how closely related it is to the 7.92x33 Kurz but still priced well enough to blast with. As much as I love 5.56, it would be an abomination to chamber the STG44 with it.So, what caliber are we liking this in? Comes in the original 7.92mm Kurz, 5.56, 300 BLK and 7.62x39.
Wonder how that works out with the stanag conversion. The x39 would be my pick, too.Personally I'd get the 7.62x39 model. They used to outsource their parts and for the prices they were aiming at, got crap quality. Since then, they have moved a majority of manufacturing in house. Quality has gone up, prices stayed decent. But first impressions lastTo the contrary of the haters (cm for one, God Rest His Soul), I've made a fair number of purchases from PSA and have never had a problem. As @Usmccookie stated above, I believe they have good intentions but for a period of time suffered from becoming more popular than they planned.
Just another reason to appreciate psa. I only have a mini 30 and a mosin. Nothing else in the caliber. Not to hijack the thread but on a related note, I've seen a couple mentions online that PSA is also debuting a new Soviet Arms steel cased ammo line at Shot 2023. Looks like 762x39, 762x54, and 545x39 to start with. Wonder if they'll eventually expand to Tokarev, Makarov, Nagant, etc if this stuff proves popular.
