@Kirk Freeman is hanging out with us today. Also saw @paintball_addiction , he had paying customers so I’ll holler at him later.

Made out like a bandit. Deals on top of deals this show. "Thar ain't no gud dealz" crowd missed the mark again. Passed on some stuff I "could" have bought as there were great deals that I did not "need", but stuck to my list (yeah, I know, me showing discipline at gun show, unusual) and then hung with the homies at the ISRPA booth.

Good to meet and talk to @MadMan66 IRL. Tell Goad I said "howdy".

Oh, forgot to list: I got bunch of EPMs, peanut butter Glock 17 mags, books including a book on Colt AR-15s for a "friend" (the friend is me), an AR lower, 2 knives, 9mm tracer ammo, AK-74 mags (Magpuls for 12/pop), several optics from my friends from Georgia (Kenzie's).

WAS going to buy a SIG M322 from ZX, pulling wallet from my messenger bag when I got the old "are you looking to buy or just looking" from GEN Z with ear buds in. Nothing makes me, as a gun buying heavy hitter, to be pushed along like I am reading magazines at a news stand instead of buying them. Well, f**K you, ZX. Still mad about it. I'll calm down.

EDIT TO ADD: Did not cause scene or say one word. He was young, my nephews' age. But he does need someone to talk to him. Just walked it off. Just because I was treated badly I should not and did not ruin anyone else's experience. Just moseyed on.

I mean, what did it cost me? Saved me $400 and will likely lead to me starting 7 threads on INGO about the SIG M322, lol.

We just had a thread on the death of LGSs and they act like the LGSs are doing it to themselves.

I picked up a few things as I always do. Along with the malted milk balls I grabbed some .410 #8 shot, a few GI AR mags with the blue followers, and a box of Underwood .44 magnum 305 grain flat nose. If I ever end up where there are bears, I should have an appropriate bear round on-hand.

When I got home I had to hit the shower and throw the clothes in the washer. Had a serious funk that I didn't bring home Friday. Usually the roasted nuts folks overwhelm the place with that funk, not sure what this was. Anybody else experience this?

Always funky smelling at gun shows. Sorry I missed you yesterday. Did say hello to the gent handling the booth though.

Good morning from Indianapolis. I've been hitting the 1500 for the last 10 years and this one wasnt the worst of the bunch.

Ok priced ammo if you took the time to scan the tables. Always good deals with the guys who look likethey just cleaned out their garage or workshop.

I paid a lil over market rate, but picked up what I clocked to be the only colt A2 upper receiver left in the building around 4p on saturday.

Lots of trash knives. Lots of overpriced AKs. Was hoping to find a nice 44 or 357 hunting rifle in ANYTHING other than wood, but that seemed to be impossible.

There were more than several solid Colt uppers for sale. A friend told me, that that I care about Colt or anything.

Stuck to the list but almost did not when it came to those.

Did you see the ones at Tony's? Outside was rough (likely cop guns) but bores were purdy.

There was one dealer who had a ton of handguns but all of them were laid out in one of those racks where the pistols are upside down and closely arranged so all you could see was the bottom of the magazines. I thought "what a terrible way to present your goods".

I did see a few on tables as fully assembled uppers, but i didnt even bother to look. I was looking for receiver only. I've got it in my mind to do a 727 clone and I can't be stopped. The one i picked up could pass as unfired so I'm pleased.

It feels almost like it isnt worth it to stop at any of the tables that are hawking all the modern pistols. Same pieces with the same prices as the last guy. It's all cookie cutter.
