    What makes the 85 different than a 75b with ambi safety?
    Not much, my understanding is the 85 was an improvement on the original 75 with addition of ambi safety and firing pin block as the original 75 was not patent protected.
    others can chime in more info I am sure.

    I believe Mr. Wizard said something along the lines of there being fewer points of contact in the trigger group which allows for a smoother pull...
    I could be remembering completely wrong though...
