This is way older, but if the intro to this isn't the intro to "Sweet Child of Mine", I'll eat my hat... I probably hadn't heard this song since the early 80's but for some reason it just popped into my head.



ETA: I just started singing "Sweet Child of Mine" (in my head mostly) and it is structured just the same, and most of the chords work too. And the guys from Gun's n Roses would have been about the right age to be aware of Starcastle...

ETA 2: Nevermind. While what I said was true for the first part of the song, they morph into more of a Yes or even ELP groove. Mostly Yes though.
