Kid's final soccer game and a graduation party...in IA. At least it is on this side of the state. He ad his cousins want to hit the pool after.

We had breakfast at Round the Clock on 30/41 today. Can't beat the Pick 4 for $4.75 or whatever. I might have actually enjoyed it if Mama Snap had not been bitching about every.damn.thing. I slipped the waitress some combat pay.
I live just down the street from there. Used to go quite often for breakfast on the weekend. Haven't been there in a while. Don't really go out to eat much anymore.

Good food, and cheap if you get the specials. They used to have two pages of breakfast menu where everything was $4.00, and I was amazed to see people ordering a $10 breakfast not on those two pages when they could have gotten just about anything for $4.00. But that's just me. That Pick 4 for $4.75 (79?) had so much stuff on it that I don't know how anyone would want to order anything else.

Maybe next time I'm up visiting the MiL we'll go try that out.

I would suggest Avgo in St. John. Holy scnikeys is it expensive. But the food it out of this world good. Plan on dropping $15 plus a person though. Mmmmmmm pineapple upside down pancakes with caramel………

That was mighty neighborly of you. Since retiring, I don't miss the pressure to get the lawn mowed in between work, weather and other obligations.
I retired last June. Love getting the outdoor work done during the week. Cut the front, then take a break with some water. Then finish the back. Then you have the weekend free. Awesome!

Dad, repeater, and I pulled a couple weed/trees out of the yard.
    Ugh.
Even with the farm jack, it was a LOT of work, and now I hurt.
    Maybe I should be exercising.

    Anyway, more tomorrow.
