They aren't fins in the manner of what fins are thought of. The taillights extend past the trunk line, but they quarter panel doesn't rise up to give a fin. They are rounded over.

Yes sir. '55 being my favorite of the three. I just don't like the front of the '56.

I like the 55 nose on a gasser. Straight axle nose up bad MoFo.
I really like the 56 but my heart is with the 57. Like the one up thread that belongs to my buddy. The stance is enhanced by the side molding and the fins.
The original Car Craft 57 in the Hollywood nights is my grail car.

That molding is from a '55. Haven't seen that on a '57 before. Most people want the big ribbed panel.
