Anyone else notice how the pump receipts tend not to work at Family Express stations. Went to 3 different FE stations and had to go in for receipts. This really annoys me. Mrs Bugs keeps the books and I always get a receipt for her.

Same at the speedways as of late. They run out of paper and don't get refilled.

I traded in a 2014 Nissan Frontier and got almost what I paid for it as a trade in.

Bought a new 2022 Ridgeline and paid MSRP for it. Ford dealer wanted to hit me with big up-charges over MSRP. Or I could 'order' a truck and wait 4 to 6 months for delivery.

Ford is horrible about that, especially for their rarer models.

Agreed that this could sometimes be the case, but lots of gas stations have only one person working, and it must be hard to get out and change tapes when you have a constant line inside.

Yes, that is the most likely cause. Same for not keeping the washer fluid reservoirs filled. That one is my gas station pet peeve.

The emissions testing spot is on the other block, every single year we get about 13 cars that drive around our building all confused thinking we are the emissions testing spot.

The #1 they all do is when they see you, they beep... Like as if you are there to run over to their car and assist them.
