Yes...people did not understand the fancy words in the definition and tried to use it to pretend this isn't a vaccine so they, wait for it... Made it into more patient friendly language.
Oh c’mon. That’s got to be about the least charitable/partisan interpretation one could have. As technology changes I can see why definitions would need to evolve. I don’t have any problem calling this a vaccine. But your interpretation of things is no better than the people who don’t like calling it a vaccine.

“Government wants to control information and control language because that's the way you control thought, and basically that's the game they're in.” - George Carlin

I think George Orwell called that, wait for it... Newspeak.

And it still did for people not trying to look for any absurd reason to discredit the reason. At least find a legitimate argument rather than a CDC definition.

How about it's gross ineffectiveness at stopping the spread or preventing infection? What about a plethora of adverse affects, including death?

But hell, COVID doesn't impact kids and you personally gave the jab to your six year olds. Future could look VERY bleak for you @mbills2223...long term effects on this are unknown...

Or you just can't / don't want to answer why Pfizer will only give the jabs where they can have liability protection?

THAT, should tell you everything you need to know...

Pfizer Will Not Give mRNA Shots To Countries Where They Face Legal Liabilities For Side Effects

"Pfizer has been hesitant to go into some of the countries because of the liability problems, they don’t have a liability shield." - World Bank President David Malpass

So safe that Pfizer won't give it to you if you can sue them for adverse reactions?

No, if your vax is as great as you think it is, this reads like: multinational corporation refuses providing lifesaving treatment to millions of people, sentencing them to die, in the name of profit.

I never said drug companies were saints, I just said the vaccine is a good thing. Nice try though.

ETA: it's not my vaccine...I'm no where near smart enough to develop a revolutionary, life saving vaccine, let alone so rapidly.

You trust a vaccine produced by a corporation that will let people die unless they're released from any of said product's liabilities?

I trust peer reviewed data. You're still trying to confound the issue though.
Pro tip: neither is big pharma.
Alrighty... we'll just remove all of big pharmas products from the market since they are such dumb shits.

Was that the 10-15 years of data that's typically needed for vaccine approval?
It may surprise you to learn that the COVID vaccine had plenty of volunteers, funding, and an already established pathway, to complete the necessary trials in a shorter time frame. Fast doesn't mean rushed.

Oh or maybe they counted any death as a vaccine death! Or is that line only permitted for use with COVID itself?
