    That changed today.
    Or was it June 1?

    Either way, it changed.
Cause they threw away Constitutional Carry, they threw this as a bone so they could say, "It's free. What do you want?"
^^THIS!!^^ 1 July free lifetime LTCH. Last year the 5 year became free. We go at it again in January.

Well Duh! What we want is the Constitution honored, and constitutional carry for Hoosiers. Psssttt, just a little secret, the bad guys already carry without the government permission slip.

If you have the five year that's not expired do you have to go through the whole process again to get the lifetime?
That is correct, it is two different licenses. It was set up that way to get the 5 year to serve as a NICS check (fill out the 4473, not called in.) Of course it's the ATF that does that... I was holding my breath but I turned blue and passed out.

Free,.... HA! Had to change the address on mine because of a change in residence two weeks ago and had to pay $20. Bet I'll have to pay another $20 to change the address again in December when my new home is done.

Not having to pay for the permission slip from the government doesn`t cancel out the fact that we don`t need a permission slip from government to BEAR arms. Indiana MUST have constitutional carry.
speaking as a concerned citizen here.

the only way i see CC as beneficial is if the prosecutors & judges uphold the law. make the criminals pay for the firearms crimes they commit.

otherwise we'll have a bunch of thugs running around like they're marshall dillon.

Nothing changes in that regard with constitutional carry, so called "prohibited" persons are still prohibited. Reasonable, responsible people will stay the same. Idiots will still be idiots with or without the government permission slip...
