    In what way? I have seen these events before. They look like they would be fun. Tough, but fun.
    I have seen them as well and they do look tough.
    I just think her right hand looks like it would have to be stretched beyond normal human limits to have any grip on that bar. Her elbow to finger length is too long - like they added the barbell later.
    Plus she is not leaning to balance the weight - it could be that the bag on her left shoulder is very heavy - then she might be balanced.

    You could be right. I have seen bars at my gym though that have a "handle" on them and are hollow. They weigh 23 lbs. That set up would total about 73 lbs, well within an able bodied person to carry without a lean. Especially with a sandbag on the other shoulder.

    That handle thing would explain it all right and that would be very appropriate for that type of event.
