Yeah, I'd say twice a year anyhow. And if the weeds have gotten big, it might take two applications to kill them, but it says that on the jug. I bought the 1 gallon jug with the sprayer built in, and then just buy the refills (2 gallon this time), which makes it cheaper. The sprayer is battery-powered too and you can change the batteries. No pumping or spray trigger to wear your hand out.

Hummm... There is a "year long" version of that stuff, it is dirt cheap by the concentrated gallon, and I have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer.

I had bad luck with the 365 version of RoundUp, so much so that I demanded they refund my money under their refund policy (still waiting on that check from 10 years ago), but I might roll the dice on such a formulation again from another manufacturer. Maybe next year will be weed killer thunderdome and I'll just kill the entire lawn, drop the keys, and stop paying the rent?

    They make a good product.

I made the mistake of buying some truck stop winter deicer once because I was out of options. The fluid was OK, but it was green! Every time the ice on the cowl would melt it would leave a green puddle under the car and I thought the heater core was leaking. :runaway:

The Rain-x is usually in stock by late Sept. They have the release date down pat. Just in time for winter.

I'd like to get one of those backpack sprayers. Even with having to pump it every once in awhile, they look like they'd be much more efficient. Or else one of these backpack sprayers... ;)

I can't say enough good things about my backpack sprayer. In fact, old boy in yer pic there is using my exact sprayer as the basis for his cig lighter.

One thing I will say is likely a universal truth with backpacks (except maybe the round ones) is to never under estimate the morale boost of having ~35lb of nice 45 degree ground water strapped to your back on a 90+ degree day. I increased the throughput of my wand so the tank would run dry before I got too hot.
