Tonights stick. Been waiting over a month since I received this, very excited to try it!
So here are my thoughts on this cigar:

Appearance: I absolutely love the band on this stick. Has that resemblance of a Behike band. That's because the blender also worked on the behike so it's not a complete rip off lol. 9/10.

Construction: excellent construction, it held a very long ash, perfect draw, Razor burn line. 10/10 here.

Flavor: This is an extremely smooth cigar. I'm sure the five years of age before they are sent out played a big part in this outside of the blend itself. It's definitely on the mild side which typically isn't what I go for. It's creamy with floral notes, and a Buttery sweetness. I even got a little hint of a popcorn flavor which is a first for me and a cigar. I could see where people who are into mild cigars would think this is a top-notch stick. It's not something I would buy very often but I'll probably keep one in the humidor for those times that I'm looking for something really smooth and mellow and don't want something medium to full-bodied. 7/10.

Conclusion: this stick retails at $25! With that being said I don't think it's quite worth that especially if you're talkin about buying a box. But it's definitely something cool to try and I would like to enjoy on occasion. If this stick was $10 it would be absolutely amazing! But getting a cigar pre aged after it's rolled for 5 years comes with a premium I guess!

So I headed to Jackson's Cigar & Spirits in the 100 Center in Mishawaka today. Nice place. I picked the Macanudo "M", one of my all time favorites. It was priced at $9. Since I quit drinking, a root beer Jones Soda accompanied it. There were a few other patrons in the main room where I sat. The fans and air purifier they use did a great job of keeping the smoke down. I only wish they had hot coffee.

I was so nice to have a stick and not freeze and also had no distractions.

My humidor is almost done seasoning and I've been busy bringing things in to stock up. When I get things together later this week, I'll take some pictures and give a list of things I'm going to collect / try.

Ok disclaimer to this post: I know everyone enjoys cigars in their own way. I'm not the huge cigar snob that judges what peopleenjoy or how they do it. This is just an observation I made today that I thought was kind of funny.

So I am sitting in a cigar lounge and a guy sit down next to me and pulls out his cigar. It's not banded so not sure what it is exactly but its a big cigar. Not sure size but looks like a 60+ ring gauge and churchill length. So he removes cello and literally licks every square inch of the cigar and bites the cap completely off. He lights this bad boy up and is puffing this thing Hard and like every 5 to 10 secs. I'm mean at this pace he is going to be done with it in 10 mins! After every few puffs he starts slamming it into the ash try to get excess ash off and it splitting the cigar wrapper and the thing it falling apart. He gets half way through this stick in record time and then pushes the remaining 4 ish inches into the ashtray turning it into a pancake. He waits about 15 secs and pulls another out and starts repeating this process. It was the funniest thing I have seen in cigar smoking. But if he enjoyed it, all the power to him!

Top pic is a growing group of misc grabs. Bottom is my stuff I've ordered from Privada Cigar Club and their Limited Cigar Association shops. My 100 count humidor is (finally) seasoned and started dropping things in.

More stuff is on the way and should be here soon... Member of the Main and Farm Rolled monthly at Privada plus dropping in The Smoke Pit in Greenwood (local LCA member) for their monthly drop with at least one other addition trip to support the B&M store that is helping me learn and grow...

I've been wanting to start this journey for 20+ years. I haven't been in for a month and I'm already telling the difference between the different sticks, what I'm enjoying and what I'm not ready to enjoy. My pallet has a LONG way to go, but this isn't about the game. It's about the journey.

Looks like today would be a good day to be out on the porch with a scotch and a cigar..... and it looks like I am going to be home before dark!

Saw this in other part of forum and it fits well here too. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. But sounds like a good time.
