Might maybe get the wife’s new carry gun and the Wrangler out to shoot some tomorrow... So glad she has her own carry gun now and it’s freed up my 19 so I don’t have to carry the 10mm all the time... Plus it allows me to have “wants” back without feeling guilty of needing to buy her something first. :D
I hope you like the P365. It seems most people love them, but I couldn't get along with mine and sold it rather quickly. Went back to the G42 it was bought to replace for carry. :dunno:

We shall see! Everything seems perfect about it so far, up to the wife... see if she can shoot it well
Mine was just a pain and would have a failure to feed all the time. Maybe it had a "break in period," but I kind of have the opinion that guns should run from day one. I hope yours doesn't have that hiccup!

Grad student life :dunno: . I have other work for tomorrow afternoon... Two projects, totally unrelated.

Got my Rim Country Manufacturing .357 Sig barrel in for my Steyr M40. Got a BT guide rod and bushing coming. I think it'll be nice for my only striker fired gun.

I don't mind the idea of a break-in period for a gun, but I think it should be detailed very plainly that it will need say 200 rounds through it to be reliable. I was telling RH in a pm about my one Ithaca needing some use. The used ones can be made quite smooth. I'm hoping the nitrided out waterfowler will become equally smooth with some use. Don't worry, Sarah, the short LOP 20 gauge I'll bring to SGE is nice and smooth. I think Ithaca has earned my fanboy drooling.

My sister likes the little G42 I recently sold to her (quite cheap given the current & recent prices in the classies). I sleep a little easier at night knowing that there is not a G**** in my house.

Well I do have some "UBER" nice ones after all.......:):
The 97? Oh yeah, they're sweet, for sure.

A done up 97 is like a pimped out stretch limo hauling 10 big dudes in the back and one in the driver seat. They look damn good and if the big guys get out of the limo, people will go down. For shizzle, my nizzle.

    Word to your mother.

I did not hit the Mega lottery. No new CZs for the time being. :crying:

I don't see myself buying a 97 even with the budget to make it happen. Though, I haven't shot one. Maybe could be convinced otherwise with the gun in hand.

Someday I’ll add another 1911 to the stable, no 97 for me. For some reason I’m on a long gun kick... Disappointed to see the Benelli Nova disappeared from the classies. At least gave me something to think about.... Next wants: Henry lever .22, 12g pump and a Tippman .22 just cause they are made here in the great Fort of Canada. That’s all for now...

I like my G42 quite a bit. Bought it new for $345. Likely won't see that price point again.
