A lot of shooting occur with police when the citizen isnt armed. Reminds me of the scene in Clint Eastwoods movie "the Mule". The cops pull over a unarmed man and he begs the cops not to kill him. In reality he had a right to be terrified.......
Why are we still patronizing a business that fired a manager for calling the police on a trespasser, vilified the police for arresting a trespasser, and then PROHIBITED employees from calling the police on trespassers?
So Starbucks fired a manager for asking a man to leave the store, then calling police when he refused. I'm pretty sure asking customers, or even non-customers, to leave violates Starbucks policy.
So I ask again, why are we still patronizing this company?

I don't.
I'm disappointed that a new one is about to open in Crawfordsville.

"You guys are causing that woman distress. You need to leave."
"**** you. No."
"I'll call....ummm....911?"
"Call em. **** you. We aren't leaving."
"I called 911."
"What did they say?"
"**** you."
No? They wouldn't do that?
Well, maybe it's time they did. I know soldiers and marines who would do EXACTLY that in similar circumstances.

In this circumstance, I think we'd both agree that any prior contractual interest would no longer remain? "I need you to leave, and I'm refunding your money for your purchase" would obviate any expectation regarding services rendered/products purchased.
The insanity, is the notions that people are offended by. But I standby the idea that a business should be able to deny service or expel anyone for any reason (with only a few exceptions).
