I have 120 once fired 30/30 brass cases to throw in the hat. A mix of Remington and Winchester. Would be happy to meet up on the Southside of Indy or at Menards in Columbus. I know I cannot send PM's, but I hope I can receive them. Just include your email so that I can get back to you.

What a WONDERFUL thread, and heartfelt sentiment. By far, the very best thing I`ve seen in my time here. I will look and see if I have anything to offer. I don`t have much anymore, I cleaned everything out 3 years ago as we downsized, but I will look.

Ok I'll play. I've got an fde ATI folding Ak stock. Tube fits any AR buttstock and folds to the left side. I've also got a Houge rubber fore end for a Remington 870. You can pick them up in the Speedway/ Downtown Indy area. Pm me if interested!

I got this idea from another forum I am on and thought I'd see how it went over here at home in the Hoosier state.
I have some extra gear laying around... and its free to a good home, as long as you have something to give out as well...

The idea is not to compete with the "for sale" items, but to share with our fellow gun enthusiasts. I'm l
oving the giving there and would like to see it thrive here. I hope to benefit, but I also want to contribute. I have requested Pay It Forward "PIF" over there, and have also given items away. Sometimes (most times) it's something small you just aren't using, but there have been times a generous soul would offer up Aimpoints, and Noveske barrels... Be kind, give stuff away, ship it on your dime... The idea is to share, so don't be the guy that offers up a PIF of a "new-in-wrapper MRE spoon" after requesting a high dollar item. I don't have a bunch of nice stuff laying around right now, but if you could use any of these items, just post up, then offer your item as a PIF. People can share names and addresses via PM so privacy is kept.

These are the items I have to offer as my meager PIF items to start the thread:

    1. A very nice set of Hogue overmolded grips for a 1911. There is nothing wrong with them. I thought I would like the grips, but it turns out they make the grip a bit too fat for my stubby fingers.
    2. A 6 position collapsible stock (receiver extension with stock, buffer, spring, and castle nut) Not a big bran name part, but it's new and I never installed it on anything. Spoken for.
    3. A .45 ACP Springfield Armory XD mag.
    4. A new in package HI VIZ front sight for an XD.
    5. A YHM flip up rear sight. Spoken for on the other site.
    6. I have 5 A2 style grips.
    7. A set of carbine handguards.
    8. I have 2 new carry handle mounts to forward mount an Aimpoint on.
    9. I have 2 Molle II M4 double mag pouches. Spoken for.
    10. A pistol lanyard.

Please just let me know if any of these items can be useful to you.

And yes, I still have the new-in-wrapper MRE spoon too.

OK please read post 81 again and answer it.

Sorry, not trying to be an ass about it. You don't have to "trade" anything. I have an item I don't need. I am offering it up free for anyone who may need it. What is asked is that you offer up something you don't need. "I have some AR-15 mags." is not very specific. Are you offering up 2 USGI mags, or 25 Gen III Pmags? Not asking for a lot. Even one or two mags may be a great help to someone who needs them.

You have accepted my offer, and I will sent it to you. (As soon as you send me your address.) Next, just offer up an item, or items so that others on the thread will know what is up for grabs... then follow through when you get an answer. Post 1 states "People can share names and addresses via PM so privacy is kept." This is how transactions are completed.

I have a Hogue grip for a S&W 3913. On of the tabs on the grip itself is broken but should hold fine. Otherwise the grip isn't too worn and still in decent shape.

I'm not really looking for anything, but I will offer up some once fired .223/5.56 brass. You will have to meet me on the South or East side of Indy. I don't want to drive far to give someone FREE brass.
Not looking to ship it either. Most of it was fired from my Tavor, which does leave a small dent in the case and the case mouth. I re-loaded for years, these should easily come out in your sizing die. After all it's FREE!
If you want it, PM me and we can make arrangements for you to get it.

Spike Jones, here's how it works.

I have some brass to give away, someone tells me that they want it.
I give it to them, then that person is expected to put something up for free to whomever wants it.
There is a level of trust here. You can always look at someone's feedback and see what kind of person they are.
If you want the HI-VIZ sight and daddyusmaximus lives in another part of the sate, it is reasonable to think that he is willing to ship it to your house for free, as opposed to driving half way across the state to hand it to you in person. You have to trust him.

I think you may be a little too paranoid to participate in this thread.

Look at the way I have written my post for free brass. I am a nice guy, but not nice enough to ship it to your house. Brass is heavy.
But if someone wants it, I am willing to take time out of my day to meet them close to where I work or live to give it to them.
.223/5.56 brass is plentiful and most re-loaders most likely have a ton of it. Maybe someone is wanting to experiment with making their own 300 Black Out brass.
Then my FREE brass may appeal to that person, as they won't be messing up their own brass to experiment with.

This really is a simple process and brings us together as a Community. This is NOT Craigslist or other websites without a vetting process in place.
I took the time to look at his feedback, you should too. He is not the kind of guy that is going to do anything other than be kind enough to mail you a sight that you want.

Then all you have to do, is put up whatever it is that you're not using at your house and that you won't miss.
And then be willing to meet or ship it to the next guys house.
