    I am one of those 99% I suppose. I am 22. I've certainly never worked to harm you or America. I own a home, pay taxes, and work my butt off at an engineering firm and my church. My parents detest trump just as much as I, as do my grandparents(one of whom was a WW2 POW), as do all of my siblings. We revere the Constitution and the men that bled to make it so. We are Patriots.

    Please, take a few minutes to reflect on your condemnation of your fellow Americans. If you spend some time reflecting on it, you might realize that we oppose Trump because he is the worst thing to happen to Conservatism in decades, perhaps longer. To have the standard bearer for lust and immorality be the standard bearer for the Conservative movement, at least in the eyes of most, is what we cannot and will not support.

    I suggest you read up on the supreme court and how important the next 4 years will be before you let you loose sight of the forest for the trees.

    I see. So even after I level the charge that you are simply incapable of admitting that Trump is a faulted candidate, you still deflect. You don't get to play pragmatist when you supported him in the primary over far, far superior candidates.

    In other words,

    You own this.

    Oh yes, blame me for being one of the all time record high number of people who turned out to vote in a republican primary for Trump.

    I voted for the person most capable of defeating hillary, because nobody else stood the slimmest chance if they were so handily defeated by Trump.

    Are you serious? The VAST majority of polls during the primary showed Trump fairing FAR worse against Clinton than several candidates. That is either incredibly disingenuous or incredibly misinformed.

    You're telling me, people who can't beat someone you lot considered to be a joke, had a chance against the full media might of the DNC?

    Oh yeah, their polls look great then. They wouldn't look so great after being labeled white nationalists and racists.

    Trump had media bravado, he knows how the game plays out and how to handle situations that would be career ending for most.

    I think we'll get to see who owns what in about a month. NeverTrumpers are already hedging their bets with that sort of talk. King NeverTrumper Josh whatever made reference to them being blamed for the "for sure" Hillary win to do the same.

    Trump won because he worked weak Conservatives up into a frenzy and played to their emotions. This had, and has, the opposite effect on people who disagree with him and his party.

    Rubio consistently polled much better against Hillary. Hard sell to make him into a white nationalist. Rubio wasn't ideal, but if that was your honest standard, you made the wrong choice.

    We'll see, but I'd place a bet you are wrong on that career ending stance.

    Hedging their bets by maintaining the same position they've had for months? What are you even trying to say?

    RNC halts work on Trump 'Victory' project: report | TheHill

    Also: NBC delayed publication of lewd Trump tape because of lawsuit fears

    Seems like the common enemy here isn't a made-up bogeyman... but the media. They sat on stories, as planned, to release when convenient for the democrats to benefit most. They also lied and pushed an awful candidate into victory to ensure Clinton would win the election.

    I've said there's nothing on this forum we can do to change the election, but it's certainly possible to change the media. A movement can snatch up advertising dollars (millions in the case of GamerGate, for example) and have some of the smaller outlets run out of business for awful ethical behavior.

    Maybe set targets on places like Vox, Salon, Breitbart, etc...? Dishonest media can influence the masses and elect Presidents.

    The media created Trump, and they took him down. That's an enemy the Pro-Trump and Anti-Trump can get behind together.

    It goes so much deeper than the media alone though. You can bet bottom dollar there were plenty of high up republicans in on the dog pile as well. You can bet bottom dollar the DNC was in on it, as was even evidenced in the most recent leak.

    This isn't simple elections anymore, this is all out non-violent warfare.

    Where's the bacon?
    To me, the simple math is that of the candidates still in the race, only Trump has even a snowball's chance in hell of getting enough numbers to even touch those that the media have ginned up for Hillary. I have never cast a vote for DJT for anything. For me, the only goal is keeping her from sullying a Bible with her blood-stained hand on 1/20/17. The risks inherent in her being sworn as President are too great. She's made us her first stated enemy. She brought the fight, and as in any SD situation, our goal is to go home alive that day.

    As Tombs said above me, this has become warfare without gunshots. I hope it remains so, but the fact remains that she chose to use the word "enemy". If that's the position we're put in, I think we need to be very good enemies if America is to survive.

    Let me make completely clear that the weapons I mean for us to use are votes and voices, not guns or bullets.

    If DJT is the only one who can mount the numbers to approach HRC, then yeah, I'll give him a +1 on Election Day.

    At this point, the only other way she won't be sworn is if her black heart stops between now and then, preferably sometime between the opening and the closing of the polls, and preferably of natural causes. I want to see her denied the "legacy" and the place in the history books.

    Blessings,
    Bill

    Pretty much sums it up. It ain't about our feelings of Trump. It's about not allowing our strongest threat to win.

    I'd like to say a few words on the Trump "*****" comments issue.

    I find it rip-roaringly funny that a political/cultural movements, modernist/statist/leftist "progressivism" stands agape about a man's desire for "*****". These are the same people who celebrate and promote, at every turn:

    * a candidate whose husband has been accused of rape by multiple women and was impeached for an extra-marital affair with an intern;
    * a party/cultural movement which celebrates a plethora of non-traditional sexual practices, including man-man, women-women, and all variations possible;
    * a party/cultural movement which celebrates and advocates men using women's bathrooms and women using men's bathrooms as a target (pun intended) to achieve "diversity";
    * a party/cultural movement and media whose supporters celebrate and graphically depict, in both film and music they create, all manner of sexual activity and recreational drug use;

    but they are now adamantly against a man for saying saying he wants some "*****"? Should he have said, "Simon says I want some *****" first?

    I know they think we are all rubes, but how ****ing stupid and asinine must they be to not believe there is a great inconsistency in their position, both intellectually and morally?

    Their motto is essentially, "If someone is horny and wants to ****" or "If someone is horny and wants to..." it is OK -- unless it is DJT or anyone otherwise not giving them blanket approval for their libertine world view.

    In all honesty, they need to get off America's lawn...

    Interesting phrasing. I notice that you don't mention what is best for the country, only what you feel would be best for conservatism (your version of it). So is this about the very real choice in direction for the future of the United States or is it about keeping the hem of your garment clean

    THe media created Trump, and they took him down.

    i completely disagree. They did not make him. His comments resonated with the people and he made himself. The media did not vote for trump, they slammed his immigration comments and he vaulted to the top. They trashed him and he launched right back at the media and his supporters loved him for it.

    they have tried numerous times to take him out, yet here he is holding rallies for 10,000 people. Hillary can't draw 500.

    i completely agree the media is absurd and can basically elect the democrat every cycle no matter who they are. Imm hoping with trump running this will break the republican problem of abandoning their people when anything potentially bad is revealed. Just accept everyone is human and move on, don't kick them to the curb for stupidity. Like Trent Lott at Strom thurmond's burthday. Absolutely stupid.
