I average 3 moa. I'm no expert. Best was 1/2 moa @ 300. Would freefloat give me much advantage? Don't care about keymod

Freefloat is all about hold and there are those that say accuracy is impacted by how "hard" you hold the rifle. Freefloated rifles lets the barrel do its thing with oscillation during discharge of the bullet consistently. When you pull the rifle in tight without a freefloated handguard, you affect the oscillation and therefore point of impact.

    Capish?

I get that... but if a 3moa shooter with non free float tries a freefloat, on average does the shooter do 200$ worth of shooting betterers?

I voted my options in the poll but the chosen FFL locations just don't work out logistically for me personally right now. Pretty much a 3hr. trip one way east to FT. Wayne or South to Indy. So I had to take a pass.

Mine was the price of the transfer. I would of driven 3hrs to bobcat again but a few of them seemed to be into for themselves.

Same here. Just don't have the time to drive +3 hrs.

I thought about another 2 or 3, but again, the FFL locations are not ideal for me.
I already paid extra to have the first shipped to an FFL closer to me.
I may have done it again, but the transfer prices went up.
I just can't justify the extra funds and logistics.

Still considering another one to put in the safe, haven't decided yet since I'm still working on the other two. Location of the FFL's is pretty difficult this time around as well. I'm close to Richmond and usually don't go south for much. Fort Wayne would be my next choice since I have heard good things about AGS and haven't been there yet. I will not be returning to Bradis after my first dealing with them several years ago, for me they are out of the question. I had no problems with the travel distance to Bobcats since I wanted to see the new shop and pick up some reloading supplies anyway.
