The open bolt was pretty cool, though. I'd never even heard of that. I'm up at the line trying to figure out how to rack the dang thing like a moron... :D

My M-11/9 is open-bolt, as well. I kept telling guys "it's ready to shoot" and they'd still try to work the cocking handle. Watching them try to insert the mag into a nonexistent magwell in front of the pistol grip was fun, too. The day was full of teaching moments. ;)

On the plus side, I was able to determine what the problem was with the CMAG on Crimson's FNC that caused it to keep jamming, so I've got that going for me. :rockwoot:

Yup, that was me as well. It was my first open bolt gun. Ive read about them, but had never fired one since they are well, all machine guns ;)

I am glad everyone had fun shooting the Max-10. It is in 45acp. Between now and the next shooting event, I plan on buying the parts to shoot 9mm. All I need is the barrel, mag well adapter and bolt. Then I will have the best of both worlds. Especially with 9mm being cheaper and easier right now to find. Plus I hope to have addtional goodies for next time. Have to keep it a secret though. LOL

I also think we got a new INGO mascot ... Mrs. lovemywoods borrowed Kira for a bit to play in her little studio and snapped Kira showing us her trigger finger... :D

Wow, these pictures and videos are great! Mike could just about make a feature-length movie out of all the clips.

shooter521/bigcraig/VUPDblue - remember how Craig's game gun kept crapping out on the M-16 lower? Did you guys have the M-16 BCG in it at the time? I don't know enough to know if that was the culprit, but it popped into my head yesterday. :dunno:

It's the carrier itself that's the key, and IIRC, Craig's game gun does have a full-auto carrier. My 10.5" LMT upper has one as well, but it wouldn't work on the M-16 lower, either. Funny thing is that it did last year, and ran like the proverbial scalded dog. :dunno:

Am I the only person who thought it was odd that Nick was the only one who could get the MP5 to run on bacon-wrapped sausages??
