Changes to minimum post count before accessing Classifieds!

Well thats nice , I have things up for sale, and want to trade or buy with others and now I cant. Thanks alot!. ( I prefer not to just be able to PM people for questions and answers.)I dont collect or buy modern firearms for the most part. I collect and shoot milsurps. There are hardly any postings of late on the subject of milsurp weapons(That interest me). Consequently ,It will take me forever to get 50 QUALITY posts on this gunboard. I am a member to 13 different gunboards and this one ,is the strictest by far. Thanks fellow Hoosiers.

I found 5 different threads in the first two pages of long guns that were related to milsurp...

And to the others complaining - Carry issues is the easiest forum to post quality threads (at least that's my opinion). How hard is it to tell people your carry preference, or ask a simple question regarding legality of carrying in certain places?

Seriously, I don't see what the problem is. We're not out to "get" anyone. We're trying to keep the riff-raff off the site because they cause more harm than good. Remember how the classifieds used to be full of lots of great deals? Yeah, those are gone because they get snapped up by people who did a Google search for "cheap guns" or whatever. It takes almost no effort to just PM a mod and say "Look, here's my problem. Can you help?" and we'll be more than happy to do so.

I have to agree totally. MOST Forums wouldn't have solicited, or cared about, opinions. They would have changed the rules, said "this is it", period.

As previously stated, this is Fenway's house. House rules. 1st Amendment does not apply.

Not trying to sound like a suck up, but i have been on the Internet since darn near the beginning, and I have seen this kind of situation over and over and over again. Think of this as an Embassy of the Independent Country of Fenwayastan, ruled over by the Benevolent Dictator, Lord Fenway, and his private police of Mods. When you enter here, you leave American soil and are subject to Fenwayastanian rule.

Be a Site Supporter or get involved. Simple request but a lot of people feel they are singled out....cheated.....etc.

Your right! my complaint turned out positive. Im one post closer to selling my half eaten box cereal in the classifieds and all the +1 people can get all that +1 love off their chests by explaining my wrongness. Alittle win for everyone

PM the moderators. That sounds like a configuration problem. There have been a couple of issues with the new 50 post / site supporter rule.

Starting Monday 6/29 registered members will be required to make 50 quality posts before being able to make posts in the classifieds. A way around this will be to become a Site Supporter.


I don't understand I am a Site Supporter and cannot post.
