You're going to get lots of flak on here about posting about something that's supposed to be hidden, so have fun with that.

My two cents is that you should consider fitting an actual safe inside so its serves for protection from weather or fire AND thieves instead of just thieves.
Seen some inside old fridges or freezers as well.

My father - in - law has one in his garage, and never knew what it was, nor asked. I think its a pretty cool idea. Plus at the end of the day its something you made.

I would have to agree, you want the protection that an actual gun safe will provide. Not to mention trusting that lock on the coke machine and how much security it provides. Cool idea though for something to put in your garage or basement as long as you have an actual safe inside like IndianaResident said.

Great idea for the garage - plus at the end of a day of work you can ask your friends what they would like... "Coke, Sprite, Glock..."!

How about mounting a refrigerator door over the safe door and painting the whole thing
white (or avacodo green) ....course a burglar would probably just check it for beer.

That's really cool. It'd be neat to turn household furniture into a gun safe. I can't imagine it being that hard if you have access to welding materials and a few tools.
