    Moving Targets?

but but but... I only had an ATM in class when I took DP201 :(

Our insurance carrier would not allow us to mount targets on the moving ATM.

    No DP201 until November? :(

DP201 was most recently scheduled for 12 MAR 2012 (last month).

Why worry about it? You wouldn't be able to hit it anyway.

There's one way to find out. Show up for our next force on force class.

    :stickpoke:

I think I'd have a better chance of hitting it than you would of driving your jeep in the snow

    :):

    That was almost too easy.

    You son of a ....

Now, I know this is a semi-rhetorical question, but are you actually capable of cursing (in real life, obviously not here!)?

People who can curse can generally operate their rugged four wheel drive off-road-capable vehicles in snow.

    I'm just askin'.

I'm planning on taking DP201 again this fall, but as I was looking through the schedule I saw on Sept 29 "Day of Drills" and was wondering what that's about.

I believe the intent is to set-up some of the more interesting drills that we use in our various classes and let our students and selected others shoot whichever they want, as many times as they want, in the time available.

    Any word on rifle classes?

    Oy! It's almost fall!

I'm thinking Novemberish this year. Thanks for the reminder and I will make identifying some good dates a priority. I will let you guys help me make a final choice so that as many of you as possible can be there if you want.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I'm hoping to have my rifle complete before there are classes...

If you don't, we can provide a loaner. I'm cereal!

If the hold up is Rhino, I'd say you have plenty of time :stickpoke:

    Message received, ya bastich!

I am sure Rhino is waiting for cooler weather...he is kind of a sissy like that.

I intend on taking both rifle classes again but this time with my AK.

Indeed I am, and yes I am, and the AK will be fun. The last time I was able to do Louis Awerbuck's carbine/pistol class, I used an AK and it was a thoroughly educational experience. Things that I thought might be a problem were not, and some things I had not anticipated were issues that I can now accommodate (e.g. the sights suck, I have trouble mounting an AK on my shoulder without canting it to the side, etc.).
