Did anyone else see that Gladius @ the 1500? I haven't been able to sleep since! I contemplated jumping on his table, holding it straight in the air, and screamin "Tonight, we dine in Hell!" to the mob of people walking by. I didn't even look at the price, because I knew the Visa would have gone flying across the table :D

I fondled it extensively, I thought about buying it but I already have a Waki, (there was one right next to the Gladius on the table) which made it hard to justify. Had I not bought 4 knives off of the Busse table, I might have went home with that awesome combat grade Gladius.

That particular one was part of a desert war set, there are a few other knives that match it, with the desert sand blade finish and tan canvas micarta handles.

If you're going to buy one, Mike and Bob are the guys you want to talk to, they're the best Busse pitchmen going.... I always enjoy buying from them...... for the most part..... :D

I fondled a nice inexpensive Busse yesterday. Was impressed at how affordable that knife was. Don't know what model, but it was roughly the same size as a RAT RC-4. I had it in my head that all of their stuff was way out of my price range.

Compared to some other knife makers that were there, $110 for a Busse seemed like a steal to me.

But no, I didn't buy it. Fondled some Benchmades at some other sellers, inquired about a Kershaw from Brad & Knife Lady.

    No new knives for me...

$483 if I recall for the Gladius.
The knife for $110ish was a SwampRat Howling Rat. I believe it sold on Sat.
Thanks to everybody who stopped by.

I ignored the Busse table this trip. My money was earmarked for other things, and I know for sure I would have overextended myself if I stopped there.
