Let me get the bad stuff out in the open first. Stock has been refinished. Notch for mount is not original and mount/scope are repros. Butt plate appears to be refinished.[/FONT]

[FONT="]This Tokarev SVT-40 was manufactured in 1941 at the Ishevsk Arsenal, and is Soviet Refurbished in really nice condition. The blued metal finish is 99% with no sign of rust or corrosion. The stock has an Arsenal repair (left side adjacent to the magazine), a few minor dings, no bad dents or bruises. This rifle has the “purple bolt.” The bore is shinny with good deep rifling. New stainless steel piston and cup installed. Still have the original as well.[/FONT]
