S&W Shields $225 AR

[FONT=&quot][/FONT]Whittakers in Owensboro KY just sent out an email saying Shields would be on sale starting 4-1 and they have a rebate. They ship for $13 I think and then don't charge sales tax.

Anyone in the market for a Shield that would be hard to beat. I already picked up two Shields last year , first a 9mm and then later a 45.

That's a $100 less than what I paid for mine. If you are considering, I'd grab it. Mine has never malfunctioned, knock on wood.

I snagged a Shield 9 NMS and a Shield 45 NMS before they sold out. I didn't need either of these guns, but for $225 + transfer, I couldn't pass them up. That's like Hi Point prices.

Even the 9's are showing SOLD OUT. Saw some on the tables at South Bend today but the list prices were $359 for the 9's and 40's and something like $489 for the .45's. Now I wish I'd bought a .45 from Whittakers too.

From what I understand, the rebates will be going until the end of JUNE. That should give S&W enough time to restock if there is a burst in sales this week. This is similar to the deal they had last year, or the year before, where if you bought an M&P you got 3 or 4 extra mags. I THOUGHT that my next purchase would be a Taurus 709 Slim, but at these prices I would be a fool not to pick up AT LEAST as shield and probably a bodyguard too.

I have a Shield but I might buy another and pass mine on to my son. Hopefully they will repeat the sale.
