I need some info on a Beretta 70s Garcia in .380. I don’t think it is working as designed. I’m hoping you guys can help me.

On the last round, there is no way for the gun to actuate the slide lock. The slide will hit the mag follower and stop. The slide lock does not protrude into the mag well, and the mag covers the hole in the frame where it would protrude.

I don’t think a different mag would help the problem without a different slide lock. Is there anyone out there with a Garcia 70s that can compare theirs to mine?
    Thanks,

I know that there is some difference between the magazines for the Berbens and the Garcias (what, exactly, I don't know) but maybe you have a Berben magazine.

Thanks, I see pics on the net of mags with a slot at the top to actuate the slide lock. Mine as you can see, does not have one. I too don't know the difference between the Berbens and the Garcias. Maybe somebody on the forum does... This post might have better luck on a Beretta forum.
    Thanks again.
