Woo Hoo!!! Got a chance to throw some lead at my new dueling tree from Action Target the other day. I got their rimfire model after reading/watching a ton of great reviews... Dueling Trees

    Here's a front view:

Here's a shot of the pivot mechanism:

Here's a side view showing the forward angle of the tree...helps direct splatter down:

And here's a shot of a couple paddles after a few hits....they had no denting or pitting at all:

I shot a couple hundred rounds at it during the morning and had a blast! The tree functioned perfectly for me. A good solid hit flipped the paddle to the opposite side with authority. A weak, "chippy" hit only bumped the paddle back a bit. All in all I'm super pleased with the build quality and ease of assembly...got it together in less than 15 minutes. It is very stable while in use and needs no stakes or other stuff to keep it upright and working.

Did you order it directly from their website or find a local dealer? I have two of the Evil Roynstands and I love them. Considering ordering more but shipping costs from Salt Lake to Indy is expensive.

I'd love to see a dealer start carrying their stuff out here. It really is top shelf.

Could always buy your targets local and save the shipping :yesway:
We keep all of our targets in stock, and have a few stocking dealers scattered around the state and even a few out of state!

Great point! I didn't even know about your company until I started visiting this site. I'll definitely check your stuff out and see how it compares. Any stocking dealers up on the north side of Indy anywhere? (PS Sorry for the thread hijack)

We have got a couple up near Fort Wayne, one outside of Chicago, and hope to have one near Lafayette soon, but nothing closer to the north side of Indianapolis.

We are out and about enough that we can usually facilitate meeting up somewhere if you don't feel like visiting us in Shelbyville. Give us a call at 406-570-4373.
