    No Gun = No Biz
I have noticed your sign and am going to respect your wishes by shopping elsewhere. You have lost my business today and in the future.

As the holder of an Indiana License to Carry a Handgun (LTCH):

    - I have passed an Indiana State Police criminal background check
    - I have never been convicted for a crime which I could have been sentenced to over 1 year
    - I have never had a felony conviction (ever)
    - I have no convictions involving unsafe handling of a handgun
    - I am not a drug or alcohol abuser, nor am I prone to violent or emotional unstable conduct
    - I have no mental defects
In addition I have passed an FBI Criminal Background check for the purchase of my firearm.

Indiana LTCH holders are among the most law-abiding citizens in the state.
The same cannot be said of criminals who, by definition, do not obey the law. How much do you know about your other customers?

Need a legal link (IC or federal law) before I can add it to the doc otherwise it's just an internet rumor. Could be that it may apply to teh truck driver's with their special license but suspect it's more a company policy.

I know this is a quibble that can't be answered easily, but the federal facility rule can be disputed with the "for hunting or other lawful purposes" in the code that covers it. There's also some dispute as to the coverage of Post Offices under that too.

Also, when I clicked your links above, they were switched. The NGNB cards were in the other sentence and vice-a-versa.

Opps! on the link switch. Will try and correct.
Those little cards can't cover everything sadly. :)

As for the post office attys in Indiana familiar with indiana and federal gun laws have told us on this board time and time again post office facility (ie. the bldg, the parking lot, the lawn) = no carry. There might be some gray area but if several attys have all said no carry I'm not going to gamble.
