I'm 24 and I think revolvers are awesome! There is nothing wrong with them and they can pack a Hellavuh punch.

I'm planning on adding a SP101 in .357 to my collection soon. I think it will be a great smaller carry option!

I'm going on my 3rd "20 something", but I do love revolvers. It wasn't always so... took me a couple of tries to get the hang of shooting them properly. Currently have a GP100 (Wiley Clapp), a S&W 66-1 snubby, and have a 4" 66-1 in layaway (as of yesterday ). Now I just need to find a 6" 66-1 to complete that little collection! Got all of these current wheel guns where the OP works, btw.

THis is coming from an semi-auto fan, but I love the ergonomics and mechanics of a revolver - period. I'm looking to get a new .22 revolver so that I can pass it down to my son when he's older (he's only 6 months now... got a little time I guess)
I'm a fan of the KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid), and a revolver fits that bill perfectly. My uncles have some hand-me-down S&W's that have seen tens of thousands of rounds and are in nearly flawless condition. As a farm gun, house gun, range gun, etc. the revolver has proven its worth. It's a shame that many folks think they are so old-fashioned and outdated.
I have a friend who thinks they are pointless, so I can sympathize with the OP and the conversation they had.

I'm 23, I currently have a stainless Gp100 and a S&W 629 classic Talo. Iv owned several others. Magnum revolvers are my cup of tea.

I have always had a "wheel-gun" of some caliber, since I was "20 something". That being said, that was over 50 years ago, and I still love my wheel guns.

I'm in my 30's, but I carry a LCR .357, and have a LCR .22 for cheap practice. The 4.2" SP101 .357 is my baby. I do occasionally bring out the Old Model Blackhawk when I need a really loud bang.
I put my G19 Gen4 on the shelf for the LCR. I only carry the Glock when I have to go to the motorcycle shop which is in the hood on 10th St. Lol

I'm a young'in and I love revolvers! I've got a small collection of nothing fancy but I hope to change that this year! First handgun was a single six, then a GP100, then a super black hawk. I eventually bought a non- Ruger but I don't want to talk about it!

I love revolvers, my only complaint in that they're so pricey.

That said, I have a S&W 686+ 4" of my own, and as a teen got quite a bit of trigger time on an M&P .38 (not sure of it's age, likely 40's or 50's) which I might inherit if my uncle doesn't snatch it up.

Wouldn't mind getting a j frame or similar, but funds are scarce and I'm covered well enough for carry/pd. (M&P 9c).

Currently have a Redhawk .44 and a 605 in .357
Big fan of the wheel guns. Plan on carrying the .357 after I get a little range time with it. The .44 is a little big to carry, not to mention expensive to feed.
One day I want to pick up a BFR in .450 Marlin. Not sure if I want to shoot it, but I want to own it. For now I need another safe as my collection has outgrown my storage capacity. Some problems are good to have.

The guys I go snowmobiling with in Michigan think I'm young at 47. LOL. Anyway I like my wheelguns. Bought my first when I was young at 21. A Super Blawkhawk 44mag with 7.5 in barrel. Man has it had a lot of lead down that barrel and shot a lot of deer. Also have Super Blackhawk 44mag with 5.5 in barrel, GP100 .357, Taurus 65 .357. Taurus 605 .357 and replica Colt 1860 Army 44 cal. and replica 1858 Rem. 44 cal.

Though I purchased my first wheel gun when I was 29, I've been forced to sell it First gun I've ever sold. I let go of my Ruger Gp100 in .357 for a nice little Sp101 in .22lr for my wife. It's been her favorite from day one (and I can't say I mind shooting it at all except for the small grip ((I have large hands)). Just like it's bigger brother, I've come to like the sp series. Tried and true, I wouldn't hesitate to place my life on eitherl
