Would the 2 rivet M1 Inland handguard be 'semi-correct' for an early NPM?

Early NPM's had I cut stocks with high wood through 1490000 then they were issued with oval cut stocks. The stocks were marked OI (Inland) of LA. Later stocks were marked TN.

All handguards were deep cut two rivit with the maker stamp of IO (Inland) or TN (Trimble).

So, from the outsode this would look correct, but when apart the wrong inland stamp would be present.
