Their choices were Hilary, donald, Ted or Bernie...
Millennials aren't responsible for this being a Hilary v Trump election, that's on all our wise elders' shoulders.

Stop blaming millennials and look in the mirror. Gen X has been the most worthless generation in history. Some good came before them, but all of the crap we've inherited has been due to previous generations.

How ridiculous and irrelevant. We don't perceive ourselves as smarter than the previous generations. It is a fact that we did not get our country into its current state. It is a fact that young people are not to blame for the problems we are facing. It is a fact that many of the oppressive laws we are facing were passed in the last 50 years. It is a fact that young people are not the generations that passed gun control, assault weapons bans, Social welfare programs, and massive spending schemes. Who would you blame for this?

Every kid I knew and know thinks they are smarter than the parents. Every generation does this.
My kids thought they were smarter than us (spouse and I) until they hit that magic number.....you know, 30. The point where Conservative thought creeps into ones mind.

I agree with the laws and regulations being oppressive. I have stated where this comes from up thread.
Maybe every generation has more % of lazy in it.......:dunno:

FWIW, I have had my share of conversations with young people about Bernie and his programs. The attraction of the free stuff is not so much that they want to be lazy and soak it in, but rather that they believe in everybody sharing equally. You can debate whether or not they are lazier than previous generations, I don't claim to know, and you can debate whether it might work this time, I have my strong doubts, but I see them as no different than previous generations that had similar notions. The idea of a society where everyone shares the wealth is hardly anything new, it seems to get tried by every generation. The fact that we have seen enough of human nature to predict the results doesn't mean that young people are attracted to it because they are lazier or dumber than previous generations were at that age.

THere's a reason that HR departments all over the country are spending way too much time and effort teaching managers how they have to treat the little snowflakes differently than any other generation we have had to deal with in the past. And it's not because they are independent, hard working, dependable individuals...

Are they just a result of the government run sheep factories?

Why can't they seem to understand that Capitalism is where you spend most of your money on things you choose and
Socialism is where government spends most of your money on things they choose. (Copied from another forum...I like it)

Sure the current Crony capitalism has issues, but our constitution and old timey core values are what made America the powerful home of the free that it is.

The Bernie supporters seem to want to toss that all out and there are a whole lot of them. We can be sure that out of the closet Communists will be running every presidential election from now on.

I fear for this nation in the decades to come.

Every one was a virgin "once".
Show me one person that hasn't made a mistake in their life.
I used to vote Democrat but that was when Democrats were actually Democrats. That's been a while ago.

Nah, childhood just lasts longer now. That's simply a side effect of a more complex society. Add in the relative lack of loyalty between employer/employee and the diminished buying power of entry and low level jobs and it's not hard to see why the culture shifts.
