Ordered 200 rounds of 44 Special. Trying to make the S&W 629 and Marlin 1894 a bit easier for my son to shoot.

.44 special out of a larger 44 mag like my Super Redhawk with a 9.5" barrel feels like shooting a .22.

Needed one $11 replacement part from Numrich for a rifle. Shipping and tax would've pushed it to nearly $20. But I outsmarted them. I added a mag, a sling (w/ free muzzle cover), and a set of pins for other firearms to push my total to $76... just over the $75 threshold for free shipping. They never saw me coming.

I went to Rural King in Monticello. They had a sale PMC 115 grain 9x19. I bought a case worth.

They also had some 9x19 made by a company called Venom. I bought a few boxes to see how reliable it is.

Range day on Monday. If anyone is interested on the reliability of the venom ammo, I'll post a review. It will be shot through a KP9 and a SA 35.

Hit the store again Thursday and Friday for another limit of 200 CCI LRP's each day. Since it's not too far out of my way in to work, may have to keep doing the same this coming week to gain another 1k
