What division could I shoot a Taurus 627 in?

    Would that kill his times against other open shooters? I guess it dosen't matter if you were just going against your own time but isn't open a pretty fast class?

    Yes and Yes.

    Most Open division shooters are shooting 2011 based autos with 28+ rd magazines and some type of a dot sight (e.g. C-More).

    However, I would not let that influence me if I had a 627 and really wanted to shoot it in a match. Bring it, play safe, and have fun.

    I wasn't trying to discourage him. I was curious for myself. i know I will be shooting what i bring this summer not matter what class it puts me in.
