I have a Gen 3 Glock 20 complete slide, but no longer have a gen 3 frame. What are the options for getting a used Gen 3 frame or a clone frame? Has anyone had this problem and how did you remedy the problem?

The Polymer 80 PF45 frame will work as an option. Finding one with a serial number may be a chore. You can run it on a Gen 4 frame with an adapter for the front of the slide. Use the Gen 3 recoil system but with an adapter.
This is for 9mm/40S&W. Not sure if they make one for 45. You’ll have to do some research.

Thank you! That is useful information. I will take a look at the adapter because I do have a gen 4 21 frame.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for all of your replies. It looks like the adapter is my best bet since i will not be carrying it for self defense. And the adapter doesn't require an FFL.
