Free 5 year LTCH is effective 1 Jul 20. The civil immunity for Lawfully justified use of force went into effect immediately upon signature. Five-year LTCH that should be NICS exempt goes into affect 1 July 2019.

Remain valid? Come 1 July you can have a lifetime LTCH AND a 5 year NICS-exempt LTCH. On 1 July 2020 you can have a lifetime LTCH AND a FREE 5 year NICS-exempt LTCH.

What are lifetime LTCH people going to do to get past the stupid NICS check? Can one get a 5 year on top of a lifetime to get out of waiting for a NICS proceed? NICS has gotten stupid long over the last 6-10 months imo. 30-45 minute waits.

And it won't be completely free. You won't have to pay a fee to the state or local police but unless ISP has changed their requirements you'll still have to pay for the digital prints.
