Using the restroom....

Particularly when I go the restroom I am concerned about the directionality of my tool... Haha

I just wonder how other hande their weapons while their pants are down... I am always concerned it is pointing in the wrong direction and it's hard to keep it down.

I heard some restrooms were putting flies on the urinals to give us a good aiming point.

Seriously I have wondered the exact same thing. At home I take it out and place it on the sink, with my IWB holster of course. Never used a public restroom while carrying, I avoid them as much as possible.

i always use a stall and shut the door behind. also stems from a lesson back in the 3rd grade of the ol kidney checks... think thats about all that can be said on here...

Truthfully to be honest, If I am sitting, I take my pistol out of the holster and put it in my shorts. This way I have a choice of which gun to grab.

That is just something funny now. I usually take mine out and sit it on top of the toilet paper dispenser if the dispenser is big enough.

I try to use the restroom at places I know will have a private restroom, that is just the one station where you can lock the door. Its simpler.

If I remember right that was not ATM. There was a thread about this a year or two ago.

I have a very real fear of using public restrooms. So, the only way that I will even think about using one is a super emergency.

A good solution is still need though.

Hahaha. So many posts full of win in this thread. I too am guilty of the hammock method WITH underwear.

Though I have also hung my gun inside of my holster from the coat hangers on the stall door. I just slip a belt loop through. It's quite secure and almost necessary if the clearance between the ground the bottom of the door is insufficient to hide all of my tools
