Headed up to see family in NWI for Christmas. I intend to be on 65 for the Indiana portion of our trip. Last time I was there, in March, they weren't quite finished with that 65/70 split work. Anything along the way I need to avoid or detour around?
Thanks in advance, Merry Christmas and safe travels to everyone.

The work at the split is done, so you should be good to go.

If you haven't been through downtown on 65/70 since the construction finished pay close attention to the signage for the new lanes. It is quite a bit different (but easier) than it was before the shut down. It's wide open and smooth sailing through there.

Yeah the stay right to go north/stay left to go east seems backwards to me, but I'm not a highly paid road layer-outer.

This was actually a very smart move, when you consider the traffic going north enters from the right/east from the left.

No more crossing of the streams, which of course would be bad.

Nobody cancel their Christmas plans................I made it to Valpo, lol.
Smooth and easy Sunday morning roll out. Tennessee, Kentucky and all of Indiana south of Whitestown as good as I've ever seen/saw it.
Traffic got a bit sporting north of Whitedtown all the way to Merriville, but nothing some yuletide roadrage couldn't fix.
Thanks again to all that threw info my way.
Wishing a safe and merry Christmas to all at INGO.
