I forgot to include "WTS" in the title of one of my classifieds.
I used advanced edit to change the title but it's not showing up
in the thread title but shows up when the thread is opened.

    What am I doing wrong?

I was looking for answer but I suppose it
is easier just deleting the whole ad?

For the record, I caught my error immediately after
I posted the ad and edited it accordingly...
the title edit didn't show up in the thread title.

For the record, if you have trouble with any post, any mod can help you. Just drop a quick PM and we'll be glad to assist. W9ZEB is in charge of the classifieds. If he should delete your post before you can ask for (or receive) help, in most cases it can be undeleted.

OK, I asked for help immediately but didn't use a PM.

Apparently, there's no way for regular members to edit the
    original title?

I believe that is correct that you can't edit the title.

Asking in a PM is generally much faster, too, as we have a LOT of threads to read. With PM's, we will usually receive a popup alerting us that we have a message. Please to do not use "visitor messages" on our profile page when a PM is more appropriate.

I deleted the ad because you didn't follow the rules and I didn't see this thread until now.

    I'm totally confused now,
I thought I was posting my question in Comments/Suggestions

In the User Profiles page for each individual user, there's a place to leave public messages. Several users (not you) have left messages there that are more appropriate as a PM.

I've fixed your post and put it in the classified section. :yesway:
