God Bless and protect all those who have fought and died, and those who returned. Some have forgotten what Memorial Day is about, this citizen, has not. Although I was not able to serve in the military, I still support it. We must never forget the brave men and women, who SERVE their country.
Thirty-three years ago, I was a sophomore in high school and was a bugler for the Legion. At the time, it was just a reason to cut class for a few hours and honor a vet.
