Jack Spirko had a nice rant about this on his podcast today. Texas hasn't had freezing temperatures for this duration in over 125 years.

How well would the northeast fare if they had two weeks of 120-degree weather? Similarly.

No, it’s 20 years of one party rule in TX. Notice, I didn’t say “Republicans.” A party that’s allowed to have control for that long, is going to get complacent. They aren’t going to work as hard as they should to address the concerns of the people.

I agree, as evidenced by CA and Chicago (AKA Illinois) and others.
My point was many blame Trump for things he didn't or couldn't do and expect Biden to fix it. As they say "if you have to explain a joke, it probably wasnt funny". I apologize for a bad joke.

My brother over near Waco got a couple of inches of ice and nine inches of snow over that. That's not the kind of thing you build into your business model. Not even if you had plugged in updated winterization plans after the 2011 Arctic incursion.

We were blessed with both power and water. Our son and family moved in on Tuesday due to no power/water. They had water damage that will require major repairs. Many suffered here statewide!
