This day has not started out well. Besides the news of the kids, I was doing some mandatory training for work and trying to make breakfast. Burnt the crap out of my bacon and set off the smoke detector.

Yeah, if there are a couple of black spots, I'll eat it, but not when the entire strips are black through and through.

Well, I gotta get caught up from being out most of the day yesterday and get ready to meet tomorrow with the other new person. But I am taking next week off, so there is that. I am going to try to paint the exterior trim before winter sets in. I am not a painter though.
