Congrats, report back how you like it.
I've kind of been thinking about either the shield plus or the Ruger max, had a g43 for awhile but I never warmed up to it and the wife hated it so it went down the road

Sold my XDs 45 last night. Hopefully the 9 will be a little easier to tame. The 45 did a number on my trigger finger.

I thought about the Ruger and watched about 100 videos on YT last night but decided on the Shield because 1) the Shield feels good in my hand and the trigger is awsome 2) they had it in stock and 3) the price was lower than what most places are asking. Even with a box of ammo it was less than what RK wants for just the gun.

Sounds like a good deal. I've never shot a shield before, but a buddy has a fullsize M&P that does feel good in the hand
