    Pretty much Michigan.
Elaborate just a bit please. On both points.
The wiring to the hot end. Its like anything else, after a while the wires break and makes stuff not work. Usually when the machine loses a signal itll kill the machine or just the heats and extruder depending on how your printer is setup. Ive seen it happen alot on our printers. Id put money on the wiring (whip) to the hot end because the bed wiring doesn’t really move (unless yours does, not sure what printer you have).

More info on the big printer can be had here https://www.seemecnc.com/. Not pushing anything, I just work there lol
Kinda looks like a stretched-out Monoprice Delta Pro.
Yep, but USA made. Only china thing in ours is the stepper motors and power supply.

    I've got a maker select V2.

I'm pretty sure those wires are good but I'll double check them again.

Modified a thing. Snowman that I wanted as a handrail cap for our staircase. The paint has rubbed off leaving the stained wood visible. I wanted to hide it so i hollowed it out :):

Printed in PLA+ silk white and then painted. I cut a metal rod and super glued it in to pin front and back halves together

Decided it was time to get the kids their own printer. unfortuantely i decided not to build it with the kids as i had big plans for their printer. Got an Ender 3 v2 on black friday for 200 shipped. It arrived within 7 days, and i voided the warranty the moment i got it out of the box. Junked the hotend, and grabbed a v6 that was a spare from a prusa bear build. Flashed Klipper and printed a new tool head. If you haven't seen it yet, the Voron Afterburner is the bomb. I'm digging Klipper. ender.jpg

I have seen people printing 300mm/sec with Klipper and upgraded hot ends. How fast are you printing?

I flipped my bed over to smooth glass and the adhesion is amazing

I have an Ender 3 V2, slicing with cura and doing some light modeling with tinkercad. I even taught some kids to model and we made turkey pot calls that we printed!

It’s about 18” tall (not exact, it is put away with the Halloween stuff now so I can’t measure it). I got it on thingiverse but had to use arms from a remix I found and scale them, so the arms don’t stay positioned. My flow was also a little too high so the fit of the legs is so tight that once it is assembled they don’t really move.

I made an adapter piece to hold a table on my Sole treadmill. Turns out I needed the laptop higher but my wife's aerobics step worked beautifully.

I printed two pieces and screwed them to some closet board.

I just started a print that is estimated to take 5 days 22 hours and 1600g of filament . Had to buy another roll but it should be here by the time I need it.

Having my son design a little piece to sit on my laptop screen while i write. His first part he is designing himself. Maybe i can print it next Thursday when this one is done
