I recently purchased a Krag model 1898 rifle and then went in search of a good reference work on it (I know, I did that backwards). The "definitive" guide seems to be "The American Krag Rifle and Carbine" by Joe Poyer, but it has been out of print for sometime and I could not find it for less than about $340. That was WAY out of my price range and I was about to give up when I discovered that it was available on Amazon as a Kindle e-book. Cost - $10. While I would have preferred the physical book, the choice was a no brainer. I thought some of you might be interested. I know that in the future I will be looking at e-book versions for out of print volumes I want.
